In-depth inquiry into the Alexander-Technique -

In our work and practice, we usually focus on the core principles of the technique: inhibition, direction, primary control, and so on.
In this upcoming workshop, we will shift our attention to a different subject - one that is equally important, yet often overlooked:

We will explore together the relationship between the automatic habitual control system and the constructive conscious control system, examining how these two modes of control interact and how a deeper understanding of their relationship can enrich our practice and our everyday use of the self.

Questions such as :
- What are the different characteristics of these two systems?
- Is there a conflict between the two? Or can they co-exist?
- What does it mean, from a practical point of view, to alternate between the two?
- How and when does this happen?
- What is taking place in us, or what do we experience, when this shift is taking place?
- And more…

The workshop will be a 3.5 hours (including break) combination of time for practical work and time for conversation.

In addition to the Workshop Gal will give lessons between 19th a d 23rd of June.

I know Gal for about 10 years now and appreciate his very precise and warm-hearted work a lot.
He has been teaching the Technique since more than 40 Years in Israel and worldwide.
His work has been a great inspiration for my work so I can only recommend this rare chance to meet him in Berlin.
