Coordinating the Whole with UNFOLD / Alexander-Technique and dance
Regain the balance of an efficient body-mind allowing greater freedom of choice in your movements, thoughts and actions!
UNFOLD is a movement and awareness training with the Alexander-Technique as a springboard. It allows the integral development of the self through movement and dance, without aesthetic preference.
Valentina Bordenave is an Argentinian dancer, choreographer and mentor based in Berlin. Certified in the Alexander Technique in 1998, Valentina holds a degree in dance from the Folkwang University of Essen. She has been teaching dancers, actors, and anyone who enjoys dance for over 20 years, including institutions and dance and theatre companies such as Sasha Waltz & Guest, Familie Flöz, Dance University HZT Berlin, Acting Department at the UDK Berlin and Ernst Busch University among others.
The work opens up a safe space for experimentation where undesirable habits can fade away. Supportive improvisation tools help liberate the body and open it up for new inspiration.
UNFOLD also ensures sustainability of creative experience for a long artistic career through healthy body and mind attitudes.
These intense days are an opportunity to learn the key principles of UNFOLD and experience its five elements.
