Titel:
Standing Dynamically,The Alexander Technique and the Vertebrate Suspension System
Leitung:
Robert Britton
Beschreibung:

All vertebrates with legs have a dynamic suspension system that enables them to coordinate their senses, bones, joints, and muscles for efficient movements over the Earth. In this workshop we will explore how the Alexander Technique gives us the tools to engage our suspension system for an energetic relationship with gravity, and to be able to move with lightness and power. Every part of our being plays a role in our overall coordination, and we will be investigating bringing all parts of ourselves (including the skin) into the large experience of being a dynamic vertebrate. We will also explore how our coordinated suspension system will be useful as we teach our students through touch.
